A Guided Tour of Paris
If you're planning a trip to Paris, I've got to tell you that you must try a guided tour of Paris. It's kind of fun to explore the city on your own, but you could end up missing things, getting lost or even winding up in a bad part of town that you should steer clear of. A Paris day tour is also a fun way to meet new people!
When my wife and I took our guided tour of Paris the last time we were there, we got to see all the sites that we missed during our first visit there 10 years ago on our honeymoon. We had a wonderful tour guide and we even managed to meet up with a lovely Canadian couple whom we went out to dinner with, and later invited back to our hotel for a nightcap.
Things to Do
When we were there we saw some great sites like the Eiffel tower, Champs Elysees, the Notre Dame cathedral, and many of the historic hotels in the town, like the Ambassador Hotel Paris and the Lutetia Hotel Paris. Our favorite site to see would have to be the Louvre though. My wife and I are huge art connoisseurs.
One thing you need to know if you're still interested in going to Paris is that you should plan your trip online. That's how my wife and I plan all our trips and we get hotel reservations at a great discount, plan what sites we want to visit and what are the best restaurants. It's the only way to plan a trip as far as I'm concerned!
