One thing we all want when we go on vacation is great entertainment, and I can honestly say that Branson entertainment is second to none. I've done a lot of traveling, baby. I've been to Vegas, New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Orlando and all the great American vacation destinations. Rarely am I as impressed with the quality of entertainment that I found in Branson. Let me tell you a little bit more about it and you can be your own judge.
Branson Entertainment Like No Other
You're going to find a certain brand of entertainment in Branson that you just can't find anywhere else. It's a taste of the way things used to be, true, but it's also the way things still are. Just because Lawrence Welk isn't with us anymore, doesn't mean his music doesn't live on. Many of the original Lawrence Welk performers have taken up residence at the Welk resort theater and are bringing it to you live eight shows a week.
When it comes to country music, Branson is second only to Nashville. In fact, when 60 Minutes dubbed Branson the "country music mecca," that's when this town really took off. Country legend Roy Clark was the first of the country stars to put down roots in Branson, and since than many more have followed suit. Boxcar Willie, Glen Campbell, Mickey Gilley, Cristy Lane, Charlie Pride, Eddie Rabbitt, Kenny Rogers, and Mel Tillis are just a few of the legends of country who helped put Branson entertainment on the map.
Today you'll find Branson to be a revolving door for the who's who in the entertainment industry. You never know what you're going to see when you come to Branson. There's something to please all tastes, whether you want to dance, listen or laugh--Branson entertainment has it all. Take it from someone who keeps going back to Branson again and again, Branson will renew your spirit and send you home with a smile in your heart.
