The two main choices are the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, with the Gulf of California barely in the mix.

If you want the beautiful Pacific Ocean, there are a vast number of beach resort cities awaiting your arrival. Here is a quick list: Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo, Ixtapa, Acupulco, and Huatulco. These cities are listed north to south and all are on mainland Mexico except for Cabo San Lucas (Baja California). These cities offer full amenities and endless beaches.
