Kauai Hiking

Kauai hiking is arguably the most diverse and extraordinary adventure available on the Hawaiian Islands. Kauai has the most exotic and beautiful terrain and the only navigable river on any island. This makes for different sites and experiences.

The Kauai Hiking Experience
There are many different hikes available through many different terrains. You can choose to start in the open grasslands and get a beautiful view up the mountains and into the tropical rainforests. From there, you can either go up the mountains or onto the river.

What makes Kauai hiking unique is the ability to kayak on the famous Wailua River. This river contains some of Earth's most beautiful waterfalls and views into the tropical rainforest. You will see some of the rarest species of birds anywhere.

If you choose to hike into the rainforest either after or instead of kayaking, you will be amazed by its beauty. You can taste the fresh tropical fruits that are in season during your stay.
