People either love or hate the Golden Palm Hotel and Casino. It’s not for everyone so read on carefully before you decide whether to make your next reservations there. This is a small hotel with only 150 rooms so don’t go there expecting the same exuberant showmanship you see on television.

People stay at the Golden Palm because they don’t want to deal with the massive lines and overcrowded casinos that commonly dot the strip. At those places, the bars are overcrowded and expensive, while the pools are generally overrun with annoying sunbathers and loud overzealous travelers. The Golden Palm strives to provide a getaway from all that.

What you will get at the Golden Palm is a small staff, clean rooms, and easy come and go. It’s only a block away from the Strip so you still have that option when you’re ready to show off. As for value, the rooms are moderately priced and generally available.

If you’re looking for a more classic Vegas experience, this location can appear more like a golden slum than a paradise. The pool is a little small so if lounging outdoors is your thing, you might consider looking else where. There’s also not much in-house entertainment or food so you could also get annoyed at having to always leave your hotel for fancier amenities. But if you're looking for value, this is the place!
