The Atlantis Hotel and Casino is a great option for those people who enjoy being in the middle of things in downtown Reno. The hotel is located on the Strip, in Reno’s new shopping and dining center, directly across from the newly expanded Reno/Sparks Convention Center. If you’re looking to be in the action, this is a good place to start.
The Atlantis has several accommodation options. They offer luxury hotel tower rooms that overlook the Sierra Mountains, or the newly remodeled economy motor lodge which is off to the side. The luxury tower climbs 27 floors--the top of which are called the Concierge Towers, which include suites with full butler services to attend to your every need.
How to Waste Your Time
Like most resort hotels, the Atlantis offers a wide range of amenities designed to keep you inside the hotel. They do a good job. The Atlantis offers a health spa, sauna and a massage therapy center, designed to purge any residual tension or stress.
Of course, if that’s too much work for you, you could also just lounge at the heated outdoor pool. It’s free but the drinks will cost you. At night you could try any of their seven restaurants. Their buffet and seafood restaurants are particular highlights and are worth at least one visit.
