California Beach Wedding

The gorgeous coast that borders California and the Pacific Ocean makes an idea setting for your beautiful California beach wedding. The only tough decision now is choosing one location! You'll need to dedicate a fair amount of time to researching different areas before you settle on one or two choices. A great way to start your research is to conduct an Internet search for lakes and beaches in both southern and northern California.

Choosing a Location for Your California Beach Wedding
A popular southern California location for beach weddings is Malibu. There are more than a few beaches to choose from in Malibu and its surrounding areas. The only problem with most Malibu weddings, however, is that beaches are very open to the public. Because of the frequent visits by beach goers in that area, reserving a private beach in that area may start to get fairly expensive.

A great alternative to a Malibu beach bash is the lakeside setting of Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe. Emerald Bay is as serene as the name suggests. In addition to a breathtaking view of the magnificent lake, Emerald Bay is bordered with picturesque surroundings that are ideal for wedding backdrops.

As a former resident of both Northern and Southern California, I can attest to how beautiful a California beach wedding can be. From Tahoe to San Diego, there are hundreds of ideal locations for intimate weddings settings. My personal favorite, however, is Lake Tahoe because of the crystal blue water and naturally beautiful scenery. Check it out online!
