Arnold Palmer's view on golf was forever changed at Portmarnock Golf Club. When he first experienced the splendor of links course golfing, he never looked back. After being devastated by fire in 1905, the lovely clubhouse promptly received a new home the following year and was later restructured in 1987 with more accommodating features.
