Vancouver International Airport (YVR) services most of the air traffic departing from western Canada to points around the globe. It is the largest airport in the region, both in terms of the number of passengers that travel through it and in terms of the number of things to do while in the airport. YVR is not on par with major, international hubs like Atlanta International, London's Heathrow, or Chicago's O'Hare. You may also want to consider the frequency of shuttle trips to the airport, as these can vary significantly as well.
