Spa Hotels

Spa hotels combine accommodations with luxury. Very popular with luxury travelers, hotels that have spa services usually include these indulgences with the price of the room. Naturally, these services are more prevalent in higher end hotels, yet some travelers simply cannot do without them.

There are a few different types of spa hotels. The first, which can be found all over the world, are those hotels with built-in spa services. There are private or group spas available, and you can get a massage, mud mask, or any other luxurious amenity if you please. Popular with business travelers, spa service hotels can be found all over the world. They rejuvenate employees' weary souls, so that they can continue doing their jobs the next day.

Natural Spa Hotels
Another type of spa hotels are natural hot springs spas. Citing Palm Springs, California as an example, but found in select locations around the world, natural spas actually use centuries-old water that is pumped, in some cases, to your room. All of the standard amenities are included, like wraps, facials, sauna rooms, and exercise rooms.

Natural spa hotels are a bit on the pricey side, but if you book early and during off-peak seasons, you can get them at discounted rates. Spa hotels have a different pricing structure than many other hotels. Under a normal room rate system, weekend stays are sometimes less expensive because the demand is smaller. But, because spa hotels are used for rest and relaxation, staying during the week will actually cost less.
