Some of the best hotels in the world are Los Angeles luxury hotels. While the most expensive of these hotels are out of the price range of average folks (costing thousands of dollars per night!), there are some reasonably priced hotels which are more luxurious than staying at one of the popular chain hotels. For me, when I go on vacation, sometimes I like to splurge, spend the extra money, and stay in a room that has an atmosphere far different from what I've grown used to at home.
The idea of what exactly is a luxury hotel will vary depending on the person. To me, if my suite has more than one room and a whirlpool in it, that's luxury. It's certainly not the fanciest of the hotels available, but it's more fun than staying in a single room with a bed and a TV. However, a luxury hotel to some folks means a suite that's more than 1,000 square feet in size, and one which is replete with the best of amenities.
What to Expect in Los Angeles Luxury Hotels
Luxury hotels are designed to make the customer feel relaxed and pampered at every turn. Suites are usually stocked with the finest of towels, bathrobes, and slippers. Getting out of the shower--usually a frigid experience--can become relaxing once the customer realizes that a heat lamp above them and a heated floor keeps them warm and cozy when they would normally be quite cold and wet.
Los Angeles luxury hotels are even designed to be extravagant outside of the suites. Soaring ceilings and lavish marble furnishings and accents in the lobby isn't uncommon; nor are expensive boutiques, restaurants, and spas located and accessible from within the hotel. While most of you aren't Hollywood celebrities, indulging yourself once and a while by staying at a luxury hotel can definitely make you feel like one.
