Hotels In Spain

Hotels in Spain are some of the nicest in the world. Many tourists choose to go to Italy, France, or the northern countries for their European vacation. Most travelers don't have any idea how beautiful Spain really is until they've gone there for themselves. Spain is a country unto itself, separated by geography from everything but France and Portugal. As a result, Spanish culture is wholly unique.

Depending on which cities in Spain you visit, you can have a number of different vacations. In the north, you have the autonomous Basque region, the natives of which are not quite Spanish and not quite French, but in fact a distinct ethnic group. If you travel along the northern coastline, you will see a lush landscape that is dotted with beautiful mountains.

Southern Travel and Hotels in Spain
Traveling south, it is difficult to miss Madrid, the center of the Spanish world. You must spend at least a few days here. But by no means should you stop traveling south, because (in this writer's humble opinion) southern Spain is where it's at.

Make sure you stop in Seville for at least three days. This is a city that exemplifies southern Spain, and has almost year-round sunshine illuminating Moorish architecture. It will take your breath away. From there, head east and travel up the Costa del Sol (the Spanish Mediterranean). If you can, end your trip in Barcelona, which is the most international of all Spanish cities.
