The Doubletree brand, which includes Doubletree Suites, was formed in 1993 when Boston-based Guest Quarters and Phoenix-based Doubletree Hotels merged. It has since expanded to include over 160 properties throughout the U.S., as well as several international locations including Mexico, Lima and Peru. In 1999, Doubletree Suites, Hotels, Resorts and Clubs joined the Hilton family of hotels.
