Taking a horse riding tour through a foreign country and/or city is the best way to get to know the place you're visiting. From the back of a horse, perspectives change and riders get the opportunity to view the countryside the way it was meant to be seen. Peaceful, quiet, and seemingly omnipotent, horses make the best tour guides.
Taking a Riding Tour:
As someone with a great deal of experience in riding tours, I can tell you that they are amazing. Far away from busy streets, noisy cars, and long lines, horse tours take riders to places not often seen by common visitors. Whether you are exploring the obscure French countryside or are experiencing a side of New York state you've never before seen, you can do it all on horseback.
When planning a horse tour, it is important to be realistic about your riding skills, Most serious tours last several days, which means riders are expected to spend anywhere from five to eight hours each day on horseback. If you are not someone who is used to riding and/or not entirely comfortable on a horse, I recommend that you take some lessons before committing to a lengthy riding trip.
Taking a riding tour is the experience of a lifetime. If you are someone who is interested in planning a riding holiday, or if you would like information about the various places where horse tours are available, please don't hesitate to contact me. I would love nothing more than to use my experience to help you plan the trip of your dreams!
