The Joys of Riding Canada:
There are two horseback riding trips in Canada that I believe are positively outstanding. One is the tour of the Inns of Gaspe Penninsula and the other is the St. Laurence ride. Both of these riding trips give participants a unique view of Canada's geography, yet offer drastically different experiences.
The St. Lawrence ride guides participants through Canada's wild country and uncommonly visited quaint villages. This tour is by no means luxurious but is similar to an outdoor camping trip (complete with hearty meals and campfire singing). The Inns of Gaspe Penninsula trip, on the other hand, is far more romantic and plush. While participating in this tour does require a great deal of riding, the five-star meals and accommodations enhance the reward.
