Few experiences match the adventure of traveling to Africa. With its exotic forests and topography providing the ideal location for safari, Africa is positively mind-blowing. But no African experience, in my opinion, compares to that of horseback riding in Africa.

If you are planning a trip to Africa any time soon, I insist that you investigate the possibilities of taking a horse trip while you are there. There are many different kinds of horseback safaris offered in Africa. The one that is right for you will depend on your riding experience as well as your destination in Africa.
My favorite horseback riding trip in Africa is the Laikipia short safari. One of the many trips offered in and about the area of Kenya, the Laikipia horseback safari is an unbelievable experience. This trip around Mt. Kenya lasts approximately ten days and allows participants to come face to face with many of Africa's native animals such as zebras, gazelles, hyenas, elephants, giraffes, as well as many of the big cats.
