One of the things I like most about Marco Island is the weather. Balmy, breezy, and warm, Marco Island is a South Florida paradise. If you are looking for a relaxing beach community in which to ride out the winter, or a warm tropical island to which you can escape for summer vacation, I strongly recommend Marco Island, Florida.
Marco Island Weather and Water Temperatures
Marco Island is a small barrier isle located just off of Florida's southwest coast. Situated adjacent to the Gulf of Mexico, balmy island breezes and warm weather is the norm for Marco Island. Unlike other popular vacation destinations, there is no bad time to visit Marco Island. With temperatures in the 70s and 80s January through March and the 80s and 90s from June through September, Marco Island is delightful year round.
In addition to warm weather, Marco Island also features deliciously warm water. In the summer, the average ocean water temperature off the coast of Marco Island is 80 degrees. Taking a dip in Marco Island ocean water is like taking a warm bath. And with Florida's famed Ten Thousand Islands just off the coast, there is a great deal of things to do and places to explore.
If you are thinking about taking a trip to Marco Island, I strongly recommend that you go in June. In my opinion, this is the perfect time to go because the air temperature is warm (but not too warm), the ocean waters are calm, and there aren't many tourists around. With the place more or less to yourself, you can truly relax and unwind.
