Marco Island, Florida is a favorite vacation destination that my husband and I enjoy. A laid back beach community with excellent restaurants, beautiful places to stay, and lots of things to do, Marco Island ranks high on our list. One of the reasons that we prefer Marco Island to some of Florida's other vacation communities is because there is so much versatility.
For instance, I like to participate in water sports. Fortunately, Marco Island offers everything from waterskiing to underwater diving. When we aren't hitting the water, my husband enjoys golfing. Marco Island accommodates his desires by offering beautiful yet challenging golf courses.
In addition to its beauty and versatility, Marco Island offers something that many popular honeymoon destinations don't: a fair price. I have found Marco Island to be one of the most reasonably priced beach spots in the United States. If you are looking for an aesthetically ideal and cost effective spot to take your honeymoon, I highly recommend Marco Island.
