If you like to scuba dive, then you absolutely must explore the waters off the coast of Florida. Calm, clear, and warm, warm, warm, Florida waters are renowned for their underwater treasures. Whether you are a certified pro or just getting started, I recommend that anyone interested in scuba diving head to Florida.
Why I Love Florida Scuba Vacations
Scuba diving has always fascinated me. The idea that Earth's inhabitants are able to send a space shuttle to the moon, but haven't been able to fully explore the depths of their own planet's sea floors is mind boggling in my opinion. The moment I strap a scuba tank to my back and dip beneath the water, I am reminded of just how small I am and how little I know.
One of the best places in Florida to scuba dive, in my experience, is the Keys. One of the best parts about scuba diving in the Keys is that people who aren't certified in scuba can become certified there. During our last trip, my husband got his scuba certification in just a few days, and I was right there along side him in the open water.
There is nothing in the world like scuba diving. Florida scuba vacations truly give individuals the chance to explore a different world, not just a different city. Whether you choose to discover the underwater Florida Keys or the Sunshine State's famed Ten Thousand Island community off the coast of Marco Island, I know you'll have a great time.
