As with any foreign travel, whether or not an area is free from disease and things of the like, is of concern. Overall, Fiji is a healthy country to travel to and is free from most tropical diseases. Inoculations are not required when traveling to Fiji unless you plan on visiting an area that has been identified for being infected with a disease. It is recommended however, that you bring along Mosquito repellent, especially if planning on spending a lot of time outdoors during the evening hours. Some of the popular Islands to visit in Fiji include: Viti Levu, Taveuni, Ovalau, Kadavu, Mamanuca, Rotuma and Yasawa.
