Fiji Airfare

There are more than 300 islands in the Fiji Group but, no matter which one you plan on visiting, the Fiji airfare shouldn't really differ amongst them. The four Islands that are of significant size are Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Kadavu and Taveuni, and are the most visited. You can book Fiji airfare with either Air Pacific or through a charter carrier.

Traveling during the months of February through March, you will find that Fiji airfare is a little cheaper in comparison to other times of the year. Fiji does have two international airports. Nadi is the principal gateway and Nausori near Suva is the other. From the United States, your flight time is about 10 hours nonstop. Remember, you will be crossing the dateline when visiting, which means that you will lose a day when traveling there, but gain it back when returning to the U.S.

Prior to going on your Fiji vacation be sure that you have a current passport that is valid for at least 3 months. For extended stays of 30 days or more, you will need to make special arrangements, which you can do when arranging your flight. In addition, don't forget that all departing visitors to Fiji are required to pay a Fiji departure tax of $20.00 in Fijian currency. Children under 12 years of age are exempt from this tax.
