Known for its sparkling waters and warm, white, sandy beaches, Belize is an idyllic getaway. The closer your accommodations to the beach, the better your trip will be. Whether you choose to stay at a quaint bed and breakfast or a five-star, full service resort, I guarantee that as long as you're on the water you will have a wonderful time.
Finding the Right Belize Beach Resort:
One of the main reasons that I encourage people to stay on the beach when vacationing in Belize is because it makes things easy. If you are not staying at a beach front resort, it is often difficult to find parking and you can't enjoy the luxuries of beach-side cocktail and food service. Beach resorts are terrific in that they make it easy for their guests to do everything in house. From five-star restaurants to beach side service, guests have everything they need!
Equally as nice are Belize beach bed and breakfasts. Though they offer an entirely different ambiance than do luxury resorts, beach front bed and breakfasts in Belize make for excellent accommodation choices. Charming, romantic, and typically less expensive than luxury resorts, Belize bed and breakfasts offer a taste of local life often overlooked by larger establishments.
