Diving vacations are very popular by people who have found the joy and excitement of scuba diving in various parts of the world. While I have yet to go scuba diving (it is on the list of things I will do as soon as possible), I have spent many hours snorkeling and caught a slight glimpse of what it is like to explore the ocean. I was in an area where I could see for sixty feet or more and spent hour upon hour swimming around looking at various things.
It is easy to see how people can quickly get hooked on diving because it is like taking a trip to another world. If you think about it, it is another world where the rules are different from the ones on dry land. For instance, it is possible to be suspended above the ground or to "fly" above the ground, to see creatures that are unlike anything on dry land and it is impossible to breathe without the help of oxygen tanks.
Diving Vacations to Remember
If you enjoy diving then you are likely looking for diving vacations that will provide you with memories for a long time. The kind of trips where you can say to the people who were with you, "remember when" and in an instant, everyone is transported back to that great trip you took. There are many great places around the world for people to experience diving vacations.
While there are many different diving locations you can go to, one that may be a little off the beaten path for you is the waters near Costa Rica. On the Pacific side, you can expect to see humpback whales, dolphins, reef sharks, various giant rays, groupers, trumpetfish, eels, barracudas and much more. While the Caribbean side of Costa Rica is not as popular as the Pacific, there are some great some great sites to go to that are not teeming with other divers.
