Costa Rica travel packages have become more and more popular as people look for ways to go on vacation that require as little work as possible. A couple of years ago, my family went on a vacation that made use of a travel package and I must admit it was one of the easiest vacations I have been on as far as planning is concerned. All I had to do was choose the package I wanted and the rest was taken care of.

What You Get with Costa Rica Travel Packages
First of all, you need to know that what you can get with Costa Rica travel packages differs from one package to the next. You need to make sure that you take the time to look over any package you are considering so you know exactly what you are paying for before you submit any money. While there are many similarities in packages, there can also be some differences and you need to be completely aware of them.

Practically all Costa Rica travel packages will include the hotel and travel inside the country. Sometimes, the package will also include various activities that can be participated in such as surfing, scuba diving, kayaking or any number of other activities that you may be interested in. You may also find a package that includes airline tickets which is somewhat common.

While it is not particularly often, some travel packages will also include all of the meals (usually 3) the people on the tour need. Sometimes the meals are provided by the hotel and may just cover breakfast and not any other meals during the day. Just to reiterate, make sure you check out the details of the package before making your purchase.
