For the person or couple looking for a great weekend getaway (or even a honeymoon), a Victorian B and B maybe just what you're looking for. They're much more relaxing and offer a home-like atmosphere, as compared to staying in a hotel or a random motel somewhere.
A Victorian B and B offers what hotels don't--a nice place to sleep which gives you the feeling of a home away from home. There's nothing nicer than waking up in the morning, going downstairs and enjoying a lovely home cooked meal of bacon, eggs, waffles, toast, pancakes, coffee and orange juice. That is definitely how I like to start off my days.
Check into a Victorian B and B for Business
If you're like me and are away on business a lot, you may want to try staying at a Victorian B and B. Staying at a bed and breakfast with hot tubs can be a good way to combat the loneliness that one feels on the road when away from home. Having a nice meal there is good, too. It sure beats having drive-through fast-food breakfasts every morning.
One of my ways to relax at a historic inn is to go for a stroll at sundown and perhaps enjoy a cigar. Often, B and Bs will have lovely grounds so that you can walk around and unwind, rather than being cooped up in a hotel room all day and night.
