If you're thinking about taking your spouse or loved one on a vacation for a little while, or if you're like myself and a businessman who's constantly on the road, you may want to consider staying at a historic inn on your next voyage away from home. I can tell you it's definitely the way to go. There are lots of reasons why a historic inn can be a great alternative to a regular hotel.
On the road for my business, I tried staying in hotels. I just didn't like them at all and they didn't really suit my personality. I prefer an old country-style historic inn or a castle bed and breakfast for personal trips--these are available, surprisingly, in Denver. I find the atmosphere a lot more welcoming than that of a fancy, big hotel.
