So you've narrowed down your travels to one of those wonderful Cancun vacation packages? Cancun is located off the northeastern end of the Yucatan peninsula, only 1.5 hours from Miami. Most major US airlines fly to Cancun or there are many charter options when booking a package.

Cancun Vacation Packages and what to Expect
Cancun has a semi-tropical climate with daily average temperatures of roughly 80 degrees Fahrenheit. So a bathing suit, shorts and sunscreen should be among the essentials in your luggage. The October through March months are slightly cooler than the later spring and summer month, but still warm!

When you book one of the many Cancun vacation packages that are offered to you, you will want to make sure that if you are arriving early in the day that you have an early check in. If you depart the hotel in the evening please make sure you request a late check out. You will have to cal the hotel prior to your arrival to make sure that they can accommodate your flight schedule.

Most travel packages will include hotels, airfare and hotel transfer to and from the airport. Most times tipping is not included so be sure to check with your travel provider and carry some Mexican pesos on you. Don't worry about the language barrier most of the 350,000 people in Cancun speak English.
