San Diego Hotels

As with any popular vacation destination, there are all sorts of different places to stay when visiting San Diego. In my opinion, your San Diego lodging decision should rest entirely on what type of trip you are taking. If you are planning a romantic getaway, for instance, I would recommend a cozy San Diego bed and breakfast. For a family or group trip, on the other hand, I would suggest you stay at a San Diego hotel.

San Diego Hotels: So Many Options, So Little Time!
If there is one thing that San Diego has plenty of, it's hotels. From five star lodgings on the beach, to quaint picturesque resorts near the mountains, you are certain to find exactly what you are looking for in San Diego. I understand that for first time San Diego visitors, the options can be a bit overwhelming. Therefore I would like to help make the selection process a bit easier by suggesting a few hints when searching for your San Diego hotel.

First and foremost, it is important to know where in San Diego you'd like to stay. For family trips, I would recommend La Jolla or Carlsbad. These are both very popular, very family oriented cities that offer all sorts of activities for families and kids of all ages to enjoy. For a more "grown up" trip, however, I would recommend Dana Point. A positively breathtaking village nestled directly adjacent the Pacific Ocean, Dana Point is a wonderful place for adults to get away, and offers many luxury San Diego hotels.

Again, I realize that the decision as to what hotel to stay in can be difficult for San Diego newcomers, but trust me when I tell you that with San Diego, you simply can't go wrong. It's beautiful no matter where you stay! So don't worry.
