Napa Valley is located in Northern California at the northeastern tip of San Francisco Bay. It is home to some of the world's premier wine producers, exquisite restaurants, resorts, and breathtaking scenery. Set in a breathtaking valley with sunsets like nowhere else on earth, Napa Valley stretches about 30 miles long and at its widest, spans only a few miles--it is the center for all things beautiful.

Napa Valley offers many scenic routes. Highway 29 is the main road in the center of the valley and takes you through all the valley towns, it is also located next to some of the area's most famous wineries and restaurants. Napa Valley has some of the most beautiful scenery in its region.

Napa Valley's climate and soil have made it one of the world's great wine growing regions. It has long been famous for its ability to grow Bordeaux grapes and ideal for growing the grapes of Burgundy. Recently there has been a return to the old Italian grapes that were once grown in the valley and wineries to produce Pinot Grigio, Sangiovese, and Dolcetto.

Napa Valley is home to the Napa Valley Vinters Association, which is a nonprofit association that protects and promotes the finest wine growing region in the world. They are committed to the future of Napa Valley through the preservation and enhancement of its land, wine, and community. They have an active membership of more than 220 wineries in the region.
