One of the things you want to consider when it comes to Mendocino inns are the innkeepers themselves. My husband and I have both had bad experiences in the past with bed and breakfasts. Much as we loved what the guides had to say about the B&B we ended up choosing, we were afraid of repeating those mistakes in our Mendocino lodging.

Mendocino Innkeepers
As it turns out, we had no need to fear, and the main reason was the innkeepers. Basic Mendocino Lodgings 101 will tell you that for Mendocino inns to be truly wonderful, the innkeepers have to truly care. Ours absolutely did. They guided themselves to Mendocino from the south because they knew caring for an inn in this lovely town was their dream come true.

Mendocino inns thrive or fail because of their owners; it's simply a fact. The owners of the bed and breakfast in which we stayed were absolutely delightful. They know all about their town, and will happily guide their guests to the best it has to offer.
