The Carnaval
The nightlife is a big attraction to Rio de Janeiro, especially during the five days of the Carnaval. The Carnaval happens the Friday before Shrove Tuesday and is considered "the biggest party on Earth." Those who live in New Orleans may like to argue that point, but the Carnaval is still quite the extravaganza.
A holiday in Brazil cannot only be spent in Rio de Janeiro, but inside of the Amazon forest, or along a sandy beach at a costal resort. Brazil can offer the luxury or ruggedness one may desire on their holiday. This South American country has much to offer the next time you are considering spending your holiday abroad.
