Located in the same area, Mount Desert Island has everything it advertises--spectacular views, great plains, and relaxing waves. I always swing by Mount Desert Island whenever I'm staying in my favorite Bar Harbor inn.

I love taking my relatives, and their children, to Mount Desert Island for a day of nature no one can fail to appreciate. There's so much to see on Mount Desert Island, I can't believe all of that good scenery got crammed into this one tiny area. This truly is one of the most majestic places on Earth.
