With all of the amazing scenery Maine has to offer, there's no reason to pick hotels that don't offer an amazing view. I can't say enough for picking a great place to stay--it's really all about the Maine accommodations. Maine hotels are mainly high-quality, you just have to find a recommended hotel that's right for you and you'll be well on your way.
I can't say enough about all of the quality Maine hotels at which I've stayed--and I've stayed at posh suites all over the world. Maine hotels offer beautiful views of two types of scenery--lush forests and beautiful coastlines. I've only seen this type of view in one other place--South America, and there are no four and five-star hotels in the rain forests.

I highly recommend you check out Bar Harbor hotels--there's one in particular in which I always make sure to reserve a room. Nothing's better than a relaxing stay at an affordable resort with million-dollar views.
