There's nothing like waking up to fresh, woodland air, and taking a stretch on your balcony while you enjoy the spectacular view of a lifetime. The woods and water are one of the most spectacular views afforded to humankind, there's certainly nothing more peaceful than a real-life nature scene worthy of a Thomas Kincaid painting.

There are some superb Bar Harbor hotels--I stayed at many on my trips to Maine. Nothing beats a vacation that truly affords the ability to unwind, and you're not going to pull that off in a cramped motel. For sure, Bar Harbor features the best inns the state has to offer.
