Better hotels will go the extra mile to reproduce the cozy feeling of a smaller environment, so there is a feeling of intimacy while you still have the amenities of a larger establishment. Some hotels will even go as far as to consider the noise made by jacuzzi tubs, and limit them them to first floor rooms so other guests aren't disturbed.
Special Considerations for Seniors and Families
Seniors have different needs than other guests. Wheelchair access as well as a general willingness on the staff's part to help are important. Bed and breakfasts, for example, may not have wheelchair access and guests may be on their own. There are certain hotels that cater to seniors with more services than others.
